Legal advice from a lawyer is not all that difficult to get. However, not all lawyers are equal, and there are legitimate questions one may have in rank ordering the best lawyers from the below average lawyers.
One way to determine if legal advice is worthwhile, is to identify where a lawyer obtained his qualifications. Did they go to a top law school, or did they attend the one at the bottom of the barrel?
Another way to determine if legal advice is worthwhile is to question the lawyer on their level of experience. How long have they been admitted as a lawyer. Have they been in any published cases?
If a lawyer has over ten years experience, went to a good law school, and has published cases to back up their experience, then the legal advice you get from the lawyer will be pretty accurate.
